What is this all about?
International Photography Show is about giving both pro and amateur photographers a chance to show their photos at the International Photography Exhibition, which takes place several times a year in different parts of the World. Next exhibition will take place in New York, in Soho Gallery for Digital Arts, in December 16-22, 2011.

The MPAs are modeled after the International Photography Awards with multiple categories, notable judges and the goal of bringing exposure to the artists and the medium. We feel the IPA is the gold-standard of photography competitions and therefore we follow their lead in many ways.

Über Awesome Project
My current project in the works, the über awesome project, officially formally known as the über secret project, as far as I should say I think. Being that I have posted a wee bit about it already, and one is probably able to figure out, somewhat, what it is all about? If not, if one still has no idea what is going on here… good! I like a good secret just as much as the next person.
Regardless of whether or not it is clear what exactly the plan or goal is, this is still quite the awesome, über, project if I do say so myself… and I do! As I am quite thrilled with the idea and what I’ve envisioned the outcome to be, and of course love to be as vague as can be ;]

New Toy: Olympus Pen
Having not gotten my Canon DSLR fixed as of yet, I went out and bought myself the new Olympus Pen. And well what can be said, it is quite the fantastic little gem. Very powerful and it’s built in filters are spectacular!
I have taken a few photos with it and am sure there will be many many more. There are a tonne of ideas swimming around in my head, some new and some old …re-makes, or rather new versions, of some smaller not so high quality photos I’ve taken in the past.

When old becomes new!
One of the best things is when one finds wicked deals… Yesterday while out doing Canada Day type things, this little beauty was scored for an awesomely low price of $35.
Oh yesh that is indeed awesome. Why? Well because I have seen a few like it in camera stores, body only, for ten times that.
It’s in great condition, absolutely sparkling clean on the inside, and not too dirty on the out. As well as in good working order too, with a battery that still has some life in it. Although I did go out and pick up a new one, just in case.
Truly a great find. And as an added bonus, for me anyway, I actually have a few rolls of film. Even more so cool than just having the film? They are at least ten years old, hopefully making for some nicely vintage looking photos …won’t know until developing occurs, but fingers crossed something pretty cool will be the the outcome.

New Photography Prints
There has been some additions to the photography category, thirteen in all. These shots were taken down at the pier and really a mix of a few things but mostly some pretty groovy industrial type shots. They have also been added to the main gallery (posted above) for your ease of perusing.

A new print to feast your eyes on has been added to the digital gallery; Dancer In Waiting.
This one is in keeping with the ballet, retro soft feel that I adore so much. As usual there are quite a few choices in regards to size, finish and product.

More art!
Another new print has been put up in the digital gallery: A Passion For Fashion.
It has the same general style as Just A Girl, seems to be the kick I am on right now. This piece was also from a work of line art that was sitting idly by waiting for me to finish. Once again I am quite impressed with out this turned out.
Also, it is available in a few sizes, plus the mugs and postcards.

New Artwork
There is a new artwork added to the digital gallery; Just A Girl.
This one was a long time coming. I started from a piece of line art and have been going back and forth on it for months, before deciding on what route was going to be taken with it. Finally inspiration hit and I was able to complete the work. It’s turned out quite well I think, and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do!
It is available in quite a few sizes for print too, as well as the mugs and postcards.

The photography and paintings galleries have been completed. All the information for purchasing is there as well as of course the art for you to view.
Note: Paintings have a shipping rate determined on a case by case basis as they are in my home and will have to be packaged separately. All prints and ‘reproducible’ canvases are sent out by the printing company that I use.
